The Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine is the site of choice for athletes at all levels based upon approach, attention, and dedication to sports health care. All the services offered at the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine are provided in partnership with the Tulane University Medical Group and incorporate the educational and research programs of the Tulane University Medical School.

 


 

Performing Arts Medicine Association(PAMA) is an international member organization comprised of dedicated physicians, therapists, trainers, educators and administrators, as well as performers and students with the common goal of improving the well-being of performing artists.  Members of PAMA are professionals in fields that include research, education, and clinical practice.

 The Marigny Opera Ballet, New Orleans’ resident dance company, was founded in 2014 to provide professional experience to local dancers, choreographers and musicians. The innovative, professional company of dancers performs original work, including full-length ballets. In 2015 and 2016 the company received awards for performance and choreography from the Gambit Weekly’s Tribute to the Classical Arts. Known for its unique New Orleans aesthetic of fusion, live music, and the unexpected, the Ballet has performed to a wide gamut of music and musicians in New Orleans. Trixie Minx is a New Orleans burlesque performer, producer and cultural ambassador, as well as a leading member of the Dancer Wellness Program. Known for her artistic and comic-inspired acts, she has entertained audiences across the world. Trixie Minx partnered with the NOMC as a community health advocate in the local burlesque community and has been an active participant in a range of wellness programs and events.

 

 


 

 

The New Orleans Athletic Club is an American athletic organization founded in 1872, making it the second-oldest such institution in the US. Centrally located in New Orleans, NOAC’s historical building houses comprehensive workout facilities many health and exercise amenities for their members. NOAC’s involvement with the Dancer Wellness Program provides state of the art spaces and equipment, elevating our abilities in fitness and strength building workshops.

 

 


 

The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine at Tulane University is the first dedicated teaching kitchen to be implemented at a medical school. The center provides hands-on training for medical students through culinary medicine classes in the form of electives and seminars as well as continuing education for the healthcare and foodservice industries. The Goldring Center parters with the Dancer Wellness Program to provide a state of the art space for athletic nutrition instruction and cooking demos for performers.
