Blood Drive

Each year, the New Orleans Musicians’ Assistance Foundation, in conjunction with The Blood Center and the Organ Grinders Dance Troupe , hosts a summer blood drive, encouraging citizens of New Orleans to roll up their sleeves and donate blood in response to ongoing violence in the city.

Since 2013, we’ve hosted four community blood drives and collected over 350 pints of blood and our goal is to keep it going!

Our next blood drive will be held on August 7, 2016 at Rock ‘n’ Bowl

It’s that time of year again! We are proud to partner with some fabulous dance troupes, musicians, and other community services to restock the shelves of the blood bank during the summer month when they need it the most. This is our way of banding together as a positive response to violence. Our goal this year is to collect 200 pints of blood for The Blood Center.
