Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment in English and Spanish for HIV+ Clients

“This program provides the intensity of a residential program while allowing you to maintain your life outside.” – Current Client

Odyssey House Louisiana and NO/AIDS Task Force are proud to announce the addition of an Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program for clients who are HIV positive. This treatment program is designed to meet the client’s needs from current use of alcohol or other drugs to a history of substance use, abuse or dependence. All services are free and include HIV testing, substance abuse assessment, and individual, group and family counseling. Intensive and non-intensive programs are available to fit all clients’ schedules –whether you can meet four times a week or once a week after work. There is also an aftercare component to the program.

All services are provided on the fifth floor of 2601 Tulane Avenue at the NO/AIDS Task Force office. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Clients may be self-referred or referred by case managers, AIDS Service Organizations, mental health programs, medical professionals and other programs offering supportive services to those living with HIV/AIDS. Proof of HIV status should be included with all referrals.
