New Orleans, LA – August, 2007 – New Orleans musicians will join forces for a "Musicians Solidarity Second Line" on Sunday, August 26. The procession will start at Noon in Armstrong Park and proceed to Jackson Square where music industry leaders will speak in protest of the current state of the local music scene. Although no music will be performed during the second line, musicians are asked to bring their instruments as a symbolic gesture of their importance to New Orleans culture and how they are being ‘silenced’ by an apathetic business community.

Mardi Gras Celebrations to Benefit New Orleans Charities
New Orleans, January 2007 –The City of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast have given the rest of the world tremendous gifts of music, culture, cuisine, art, and much more. Relief efforts have continued since Katrina but it hasn’t been enough to get the area functioning to full capacity and allow all residents to return to a sense of normalcy and comfort. To help continue the relief effort, Symbiotic Music Productions and Crescendo Artists announce a Mardi Gras Benefit Celebration with the Big Easy Blowout. All proceeds from the events will benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and Tipitina's Foundation.
