Specialized Alternative Therapies for New Orleans Cultural Workers and the Creative Community
Through several grants NOMAF has received, some of our NOMC medical staff have been trained in Auricular Acupuncture Detoxification Treatments- ear acupuncture- which is offered free of charge weekly at St. Anna's on Esplanade Avenue ( 504 947-2121).
The National Acupuncture Detoxification Assocation auricular acupuncture protocol is used around the world to help people deal with stress and addictions. The NADA protocol has been shown to be beneficial in the process of detoxification to help eleviate depression, sleep problems, and the other symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder.
