Second line with the NOMC to raise funds and awareness for mental health services!
The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic partners with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for their annual NAMI WALKS fundraiser.
The NOMC Team – aka The “Funky Butts” (In memory of the famed cornetist Charles “Buddy” Bolden) – second lines each year to raise money for NAMI’s no-cost services and programs for persons with mental illness and their families.

The Funky Butts will be second lining in October in honor of all the musicians who have or are currently suffering from a mental illness.
