The New Orleans Musicians Clinic & Assistance Foundation is very much ALIVE and with plans to thrive to ensure that you continue to have uninterrupted access to medical care. Effective June 30, 2025 our partnership to fund LSU Healthcare Network for clinical staff to provide medical services will end. The partnership with LSU Healthcare Network has been in place for over 20 years and we value that relationship. However, a close review of this arrangement over many years clearly indicated that we needed a new business and patient care model to remain financially solvent.

To enhance healthcare options for our family of musicians and culture bearers, the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic & Assistance Foundation is realigning its business and primary care services model with CrescentCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to deliver team-based patient care that includes wrap around services as well.

You are encouraged to contact CrescentCare to ensure that you take steps now for access to care supported by the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic & Assistance Foundation. A letter to each patient that includes this information is forthcoming shortly.
