The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic & Assistance Foundation and The Blood Center collected 80 pints of blood during on the Sunday February 9 drive at the Frenchmen Street Art Market.
Each pint will reduce Doug Potter’s medical bills. Members of the community from all walks of life made a statement about community resilience and took part in a positive response to the city’s violence epidemic. THANK YOU for supporting a culture of caring and nonviolence in New Orleans.
We are so grateful for the volunteers and support from the media community.
Our previous blood drive on May 22nd 2013, in response to the Mothers’ Day Second Line Shooting collected 117 pints. Information can be found here.
