Join bassist Charlie Wooton and special guests as they play to bring awareness and raise funds for the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic. The Birthday Woot Down will take place at the historic Maple Leaf Bar (8316 Oak St) on Wednesday, May 2nd (between Jazz Fest weekends!), honoring three very special birthdays: 20 years of the NOMC, 70 years of Robert Jr. Whitall and 300 years of New Orleans! Charlie and his fellow musicians will put on an epic superjam to raise funds for their fellow members of the local music community.
