Your Support Makes A Difference.

Throughout the years, the NOMC has been the beneficiary of some truly amazing and generous fundraising efforts in New Orleans, across the US, and around the world.

Our donors are the reason we accomplish our mission of sustaining Louisiana’s musicians in mind, body and spirit.

Friends Of The NOMC Tacky Prom Party Takes Over Palm Court Jazz Cafe

Little Freddie King plays the Friends Of The NOMC Fundraiser Palm Court Jazz Cafe, 2015.

The Musicians’ Clinic, the nation’s first and only comprehensive healthcare clinic for performing artists, is funded through donations and grants to the New Orleans Musicians’ Assistance Foundation. Due to the fact that most of the NOMC’s funding comes from individual contributors, we have the freedom to focus on what matters most – providing quality care to the performers who keep our city’s culture ALIVE, regardless of their financial situation.

Jamie Galloway Crawfish Boil

Jamie Galloway 2018 04

Each year, Dave Jordan hosts a crawfish boil and all-out block party fundraiser to celebrate the life of beloved musician and chef, Jamie Galloway, to benefit the NOMC. Anchored by the legendary Maple Leaf Bar, the event has grown in popularity over the years; in 2018 more than a thousand guests were entertained on two stages by more than 50 of New Orleans’ finest musicians.

Over 8,000 pounds of crawfish and all the fixings are boiled by crews of Seither’s Seafood and Clesi’s Restaurant and Catering. The success of the Jamie Galloway Crawfish Boil grows each year thanks to supporters near and far. It’s been called “The most anticipated event pre-Jazz Fest.” Follow Event Page on Facebook
