Preparing early is the best way to ensure safety and peace of mind during the hectic time when a storm is approaching. Have an Emergency Go-Bag – Each person should have their own go-bag. Pack essentials and don’t forget important documents & identification.
Stock Supplies at Home – Have an emergency kit ready with supplies for at least 3+ days. See a list of supplies.

Water, batteries, flashlights, first aid kit, mosquito repellent, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, 1 week supply of non-perishable food including nuts, dried fruit, almond milk, low sodium canned goods.
Register Special Needs – Register Online if you need assistance evacuating during an emergency or call 311 to register via phone today.
Flood Proof Your Home & Belongings – Prop up furniture, store valuables at high levels in waterproof containers. Park car on high ground.
Have Medical Supplies & Medications on Hand – Prepare for 30+ days, know your Rx name & dosage.
Follow Emergency Instructions – Follow protocols regarding evacuation, Check radio, tv, or other media. Sign up here for emergency alerts.
