Our Services


Medical Services provided by the NOMC & as the LSU Healthcare Network.

The NOMC is a preventative medical clinic. We may also provide our patients with referrals to specialists within the LSU Healthcare Network, discounted pharmacy benefits, patient assistance programs, lab work and some vaccinations to qualifying musicians. Referrals may be obtained by becoming an NOMC patient today!

Dental Care

Phase One dental services are intended to return patients to a disease free state of oral health.

Free & Low-Cost Health Clinics


Mental Health Counseling

We partner with various medical schools, several private counselors, and NAMI New Orleans to provide mental health services to our members.

Physical Therapy

From repetitive stress injuries to accidents, NOMC is constantly addressing the needs of our members by referring them to partnering Physical Therapy providers.


Prescription medications issued by NOMC medical professionals are available at an affordable cost through the Daughters of Charity Health Center and other available resources.


We partner with Daughters of Charity Optometry  to provide discounted services to our members.


Thanks to a generous donor, musicians with performance related pain can obtain  a low cost referral for Feldenkrais® in New Orleans. More info on the Feldenkrais® method.

Specialized Alternative Therapies for New Orleans Cultural Workers and the Creative Community

Through several grants NOMAF has received, some of our NOMC medical staff have been trained in Auricular Acupuncture Detoxification Treatments- ear acupuncture- which is offered free of charge weekly at St. Anna’s on Esplanade Avenue ( 504 947-2121).

The National Acupuncture Detoxification Assocation auricular acupuncture protocol is used around the world to help people deal with stress and addictions. The NADA protocol has been shown to be beneficial in the process of detoxification to help eleviate depression, sleep problems, and the other symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder.
